Itinerary
Day 1: Cairo arrival day!
Stop At: Cairo, Cairo, Cairo Governorate
Arrive in Cairo where you will be greeted by a member of the team for visa assistance and bus transfer to The Mena House Hotel.
Duration: 1 hour

Accommodation included: Bus transfer to The Mena House Hotel for overnight.
Day 2: Pyramid Day!
Stop At: Pyramids of Giza, Al Haram Str., Giza 12611 Egypt
Our first stop of the day is to visit the Giza Pyramids, one the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World! Explore the Giza plateau where you will have the opportunity to enter the Great Cheops Pyramid which was built around 2690 B.C. using more than 2 million stone blocks!

Stop At: Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu), Giza Egypt
Explore inside this ancient marvel, ascending to see the burial chamber!
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Great Sphinx, Al-Haram, Giza Egypt
Next you will visit the Sphinx, a 20m high, 80 ton alabaster Sphinx and the Valley Temple.

Stop At: Papyrus Shop, Pyramids St., Giza Egypt
After these bucket list checks you will visit the Papyrus Factory and Cleopatra’s Palace Perfumes where you will have the opportunity to purchase some unique local souvenirs for yourself and loved ones.

Stop At: Step Pyramid of Djoser, Saqqara Egypt
This pyramid was an important part in the process of how the pyramid evolved built for King Zoser.

Stop At: Memphis and Sakkara, Saqqara 12919 Egypt
You will also visit Memphis, the ancient Capital of Egypt to visit the Mit Rahina Museum. There you will see the colossal statue Ramses II and the great Alabaster Sphinx. Memphis dates back to 3100 B.C.

Next you will head back to the Giza Pyramids for a step back in time learning about ancient Egypt at the Pyramid Sound and Light Show.

• Lunch: Lunch will be at the 9 Pyramids Lounge to relax and refuel.
• Dinner: Dinner will be enjoyed at Abu Shakra before heading back to the Mena House Hotel for your overnight stay!

Day 3: Cairo Highlights Day!
Stop At: Cave Church, Mokattam, Cairo 11511 Egypt
Visit the Cave Church of Saint Simon in the area of Moqqatam, known as Garbage Village because the “garage people” live there. Some caves are thought to be used for worship by the early church in Egypt.

Stop At: City of the Dead (Northern Cemetery), East of Sharia Salah Salem, Cairo 11511 Egypt
Next you will visit the City of the Dead, which has been used for over 1000 years, where tombs have been transformed into houses for the living.

Stop At: Khan Al-Khalili, Cairo Egypt
Enjoy shopping at the Khan Khalili Bazzar, a major souk in the historic centre of Islamic Cairo.

Stop At: Al-Azhar Mosque, Mohammed Abdou El-Darb El-Ahmar, Cairo 11511 Egypt
Visit the Al Azhar Mosque. Here the oldest university in the world was built around this ancient mosque!

Stop At: Mosque of Ibn Tulun, Al-Basatin, off Al-Saliba Street, Cairo 11511 Egypt
Next you will visit the Mosque of Ibn Tulun Mosque.

Stop At: Cairo Citadel, Salah Salem St, Cairo 11511 Egypt
Visit to the Cairo Citadel which was built by King Saladin order, the largest for castle in the medieval period.
Duration: 2 hours

• Lunch: Enjoy lunch at the Khan El Khalili Restaurant.
• Dinner: Buffet dinner enjoying belly dance show, Arabic songs and music, and a Tanoura show while you dine on your Nile Cruise.

Day 4: Museum and relaxing or shopping Day!
Stop At: The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, Midan El Tahrir Geographical Society Building, Cairo 11511 Egypt
Visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, inaugurated in June of 2021. This is the new home to a collection of over 120,00 ancient Egyptian antiquities including the Mask of Tutankhamun, the gold mask of the famous boy Pharaoh. Enjoy lunch before heading back to the hotel for some free time or an optional outing to a local Egyptian Cotton store.

At 4:30pm you will be marvelled at the Whirling Dervish show.
