Stop At: Pyramids of Giza, Al Haram Str., Giza 12611 Egypt
Your qualified Egyptologist guide will be at the airport waiting for you
and holding a sign of your name in front of the gate of the terminal you will come through to drive you to Giza Pyramids area. On the way he will talk about the most important sights of Cairo (buildings, the Nile, hotels, museums, historical sites etc) and answer any questions you might have.
Upon arrival to Giza Pyramids to walk around them while talking about how they built them at a time they didn’t even have the pulley wheel, then will go to visit the tombs of the workers and get some information about how they lived during the construction of the Pyramids, also enjoy the beautiful high reliefs on the walls.
– visiting 3 different Panoramic views of the Pyramids,
– Then visiting the Valley Temple of king Chephren ( mummification temple ) to talk about how they mummified their bodies,
– visiting the great Sphinx to talk about how they cut it, and how old is the Sphinx originally?!!
Your guide will take you after that to the Bazaar and if you have time may you can walk around the Islamic street ( Al-Mo’ez street from the 12 century AD ) to take very nice photos for very old mosques , houses and the gates of the city,
Lunch is including in between visits at a local restaurant ( Shish Kabak and Shish Chicken ),
Then back to the airport.
