Pass By: Pyramids of Giza, Al Haram Str., Giza 12611 Egypt

You will be picked up from your hotel Cairo or Giza by your Egyptologist Guide; you will start the day by visiting the Giza Plateau, where your Egyptologist Guide will provide a fascinating introduction to each of the three pyramids: Cheops, Khafre and Menakaure. If you want to see the breathtaking and amazing workmanship of the Pyramids from the inside you may enter the burial chambers of the pyramids, however, your guide is not permitted to enter with you to avoid overcrowding. You may also go on a camel or horse ride around the pyramids area.

After visiting the pyramids, your Guide will offer you the opportunity for an unforgettable photo by continuing across the plateau to take in the view of the three pyramids rising from the sands, with the Cairo skyline in the background.

A short distance to the city side of the plateau finds you standing at the feet of the Sphinx, for thousands of years the enigmatic symbol of Egypt! Also in Giza, you may visit the valley temple wich belongs to the pyramids of Chephren

Your next stop is the Sakkara necropolis, home to the world’s oldest major stone structure. Your guide will provide the history of the famous Step Pyramid built by the engineer Imhotep in the 3rd Dynasty (around 2630 BC) for King Djoser. You will then proceed to the Necropolis of Sakkara, the Mastabas of Ti and Prince Ptahotep.

Your final stop is Memphis, which is the ancient capital of Egypt. In Memphis, you will see artefacts from many of the great rulers of Egypt, including the fallen statue of Ramses II. You will also have the chance to visit the trsditional bazaar demonstration of ts artwork is made and purchase your own if you like.

At the conclusion of your tour, you will be driven back to your hotel for drop-off.
