Itinerary

Day 1: Fayoum & Rayan Valley tours

Stop At: Al-Fayoum Oasis tours, Fayoum , Taha Hussien Street Fayoum, Al Fayyum 63121 Egypt
Fayoum oasis (about 95km). Which was the main cult center of the Crocodile God Sobek in the ancient times, for that we stop at Kom Oshim to visit its museum which accommodates a big Greeko Roman collection which includes old portraits and mummies. Proceed to the remains of the old city ( Karanis) which was built by the Greek and used by both Greek and the later Romans, as they used to farm the surrounding land. We will then continue our tours to visit the ruins of the famous temple of god Sobek the crocodile god. Then you will go to see the largest salt water lake in Egypt Qaron’s Lake. It’s considered the oldest natural lake in the world. You will watch the magnificent scenery of the winter immigrated birds around the lake, seaguls, and fruits and vegetables farms.

Stop At: Wadi El-Rayan, 65 km southwest of Faiyum city 80 km west of the Nile River, Al Fayyum Egypt
Wadi El-Rayan site is designated a Protected Area in 1989. It’s an amazing destination for a soft adventure day trip. You can swim in the lakes, jump off the water or just enjoy the terrific natural scenery. Taking photos of the medium sized watefalls is spectacular. Continue to visit Mudawara Mountain which is located only a couple of hundred meters to the south of Wadi El Rayan Road.it is more of a rock formation than a true mountain, Its layered appearance is beautiful, with a certain symmetry to the feature that draws your gaze to it. Then stop while driving to have lunch near by there around the lake to try the Egyptian food.

Stop At: Valley of the Whales (Wadi Al-Hitan), Western Desert, Giza Egypt
Continue our trip for about 35 kilometers to wadi El Hitan or to whales valley which is home of 15 different species of African jakale, red fox, African wild cat, & gazelle. It was designated a UNESCO world heritage site in July 2005 for its hundreds of fossils of some of the earliest forms of whale with 40+ million years of history. Uppon arrival, we camp to relax within the silent nuture and have dinner and stay for overnight.

Day 2: Wadi El-Hitan Adventure

Stop At: Valley of the Whales (Wadi Al-Hitan), Western Desert, Giza Egypt
After breakfast at the camping site, start walking through the open museum of whales to see remains of marine life existed millions of years ago where lots of skeletons for big whales around 20 meters long are displayed. Visit the fossils and climate change museum.

Transfer back to Cairo and drop off at your hotel or home.
