Day 1: Arrive Luxor – Nile Cruise

Welcome to Luxor, Egypt (Around The Clock)

Your tour manager will meet and assist you at Luxor International Airport, and then he will escort you to your Nile Crusie by an air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. At the Nile Cruise, the tour manager will assist with a smooth check-in and review your tour itinerary with you to establish and confirm pick-up times for each tour.

Day 2: Luxor East and West Banks Tours

Stop At: Valley of the Kings, Luxor City, Luxor 85511 Egypt
After breakfast transfer to the West Bank of the Nile in Luxor and visit the Valley of the Kings, Considered among the most significant archaeological destinations on earth, the Valley of the Kings was the burial place for many of Egypt’s New Kingdom pharaohs—the most famous of which is the tomb of Tutankhamun, aka King Tut. The remaining tombs are divided into three sections; those of Ramses VI and Ay rank among the most beautiful, thanks to their intricate detail.

Stop At: Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari, Kings Valley Rd Deir el-Bahari, Luxor 23512 Egypt
This impressive mortuary temple, built by Queen Hatshepsut, seems to blend in with the limestone cliffs from which it was cut. The meticulously restored complex happens to sit on one of the hottest places on the planet, so most visitors come in the cooler morning hours.

Stop At: Colossi of Memnon, Thebes, Luxor Egypt
Standing nearly 60 feet (18 meters) above the desert plain, the two faceless statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III are often the first monuments you’ll see when visiting Luxor’s West Bank. Each of the two Colossi was cut from a single block of stone.

Return to the ship for lunch and afternoon tea while sailing to Edfu via the Esna Lock. Dinner on board. Overnight in Edfu.

Day 3: Edfu Tour

Stop At: Luxor, Luxor, Nile River Valley
Enjoy breakfast on board before visiting Horus Temple at Edfu. Return to the ship for lunch and sail to Kom Ombo. Upon arrival, visit the temple shared by the two gods Sobek and Haroeris. Return to the ship and continue sailing to Aswan. Dinner on board.

Day 4: Aswan Tours

Stop At: Aswan, Aswan, Aswan Governorate, Nile River Valley
After breakfast pay a visit to the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk, and the majestic Philae Temple. Return to the ship for lunch. Dinner on board.

Day 5: Fly Aswan to Cairo – Pyramids Tour

Stop At: Cairo, Cairo, Cairo Governorate
Disembark after breakfast. Then transfer to Aswan Airport for flight to Cairo. Upon arrival you will be met by your personal guide who will accompany you to Giza Plateau to visit the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus – Famous Sphinx and Valley temple facing the great statue. Additional visit to the Solar Boat in front of Cheops Pyramid (extra ticket on spot). Lunch will be served during the tour in a good quality restaurant, and then proceed to Sakkara area to visit Sakkara Complex and first pyramid ever built (Djoser Pyramid). Move to Memphis; Old kingdom’s capital and famous Necropolis.

Day 6: Cairo Sightseeing Tours – Train to Luxor

Stop At: Cairo, Cairo, Cairo Governorate
After breakfast, checkout from your hotel. Then transfer to visit the Egyptian Museum, Treasures room for the child king Tutankhamen, alongside many other fascinating artifacts. Additional visit to the mummies room at the museum (extra ticket on spot). Lunch will be served at a local restaurant, then moving to visit Saladin Citadel including Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque inside. Continue to Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Continue driving to Islamic Cairo, where you will be able to explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s old bazaar. In the evening transfer to Giza station taking your sleeping train to Luxor.

Day 7: Luxor East Bank Sightseeing

Stop At: Luxor, Luxor, Nile River Valley
Breakfast is served on the train. Upon arrival at Luxor station, transfer to visit Karnak and luxor Temples in the East bank. Transfer to your hotel and overnight in Luxor.

Stop At: Temple of Karnak, Karnak, Luxor Egypt
The largest of Luxor’s temples, Karnak Temple was one of the most sacred sites in ancient Egypt. It marked the ascendancy of Thebes (present-day Luxor) as the capital of the New Kingdom, with construction beginning in the 16th century BC. Most subsequent rulers tinkered with the complex so it represents a great crash course in different pharaonic styles.

Stop At: Luxor Temple, Luxor 23512 Egypt
The enormous Luxor Temple was one of the great constructions of the New Kingdom (dating from the 14th century BC) dedicated to the god Amun. It was known as the “Southern Sanctuary” and was the site of ceremonies aimed at encouraging the life-giving Nile floods.
