Day 1: Cairo to Luxor

In the morning your friendly driver will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo to Cairo Airport for Flight To Luxor. Upon arrival inLuxor you will pair up with your Egyptologist tour guide, who will take you toyour Dahabiya cruise ship for a 4 night Nile cruise. After check-in, you will begin a guided day tour, starting with a tour of Luxor monuments. You will visit Karnak Temples, Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon. After finishing your tour you will be transported to Esna, where you will board your dahabiya sailing boat and enjoy lunch. Overnight aboard in Esna. (Meals included lunch,dinner)

First you will be transported to the Necropolis of Thebes, the Valley of the Kings on the West Bank of Luxor. This ancient necropolis is a must-see for Luxor travelers. There you visit four royal tombs, including the Tomb of Ramses lll, the Tomb of Ramses lV, the Tomb of Merenptah .Valley of the Kings on the West Bank of Luxor.

Stop At: Tomb of Ramses III, Valley of the Kings West Bank, Luxor Egypt
The tomb of Ramesses III, designated as KV 11, is a complex system in the Valley of the Kings. It has been known since antiquity,the wonderful decorations include colourful painted sunken reliefs featuring the traditional ritual texts (Litany of Ra, Book of Gates etc) and Ramses before the gods. Unusual here are the secular scenes, in the small side rooms of the entrance corridor, showing foreign tributes, such as highly detailed pottery imported from the Aegean, the royal armoury, boats and, in the last of these side chambers, the blind harpists that gave the tomb one of its alternative names: ‘Tomb of the Harpers’

Stop At: Tomb of Ramses IV, Valle de Los Reyes, Luxor Egypt
The tomb of Ramses IV (KV 2) in the Valley of the Kings is rather different than most other tombs built here. This tomb is by far the most spectacular of the other tombs you will see. The hieroglyphics on the wall depict scenes from the Litany of Ra, Book of the Dead, Book of Caverns, the Book of the Heavens, Book of Amduat, and the Book of the Night. The blue and white colors on the walls inside the burial chamber are very vibrant and you can see the king’s sarcophagus made of rose-colored granite. There is also a beautiful scene of goddess Nut on the ceiling, where she is depicted swallowing the sun, and it traveling through her stomach, for Nut to give birth to it.
The tomb has so much colour and detail even the ceiling above the sarcophagi with its goddess Nut stretching across the space. The sarcophagus is one of the largest in the valley, even though some of the paintings have deteriorated this is one of the most decorated.

He did away with the jogged axis used since the time of Horemheb and instead built the entire tomb on a single axis. Also, for the first time, the entrance was made considerably wider than earlier tombs .

King Tutankhamun, the most famous king in the world. This young king from the New Kingdom was around 10 years old when he ascended the throne and died when he was only 19. You will get the chance to be face to face with his royal mummy in his tomb in the Valley of the Kings

Karnak Temple , you visit what is considered to be one of the world’s greatest architectural masterpieces, namely the complex of Karnak Temples on the East Bank of Luxor. Karnak is a complex of temples built in different reigns, starting with the Avenue of Sphinxes, the Hypostyle Hall with its 134 gigantic columns, the Obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and Tutomosis I, the Temple of Amon adorned with lotus and papyrus designs, the Granite Scarbeus of Amenophis III and the Sacred Lake. Karnak beats every other pharaonic monument: it is simply one of the most beautiful ancient monuments in Egypt.

After visiting the tombs you will be transported to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (Deir el Bahari), the only woman ever to reign over Egypt as Pharaoh. Day 3: Aswan [Temple of Horus Adfo ]

After breakfast served by your personal chef you will enjoy a guided visit of the Temple of Horus in Edfu. Upon returning to your dahabiya, it will start sailing to Kom Ombo, where you spend the night.(Meals included breakfast,lunch,dinner)

the Temple of Horus in Edfu, which is dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed god. This relatively young pharaonic temple is well-preserved and therefore very impressive

Day 4: Aswan Kom Ombo

You start your day with a guided tour of the Temple of Sobek in Kom Ombo. After finishing your tour the dahabiya will sail toward Aswan, where you spend the night aboard. (Meals included breakfast,lunch,dinner)
Stop At: Temple of Kom Ombo, Nagoa Ash Shatb, Kom Ombo 81611 Egypt
After coming back from Abu Simbel, the ship will sail to Kom Ombo and Edfu. In Kom Ombo you will visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, which is dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek. After this visit you will sail toward Edfu. in the evening you will have dinner on board and spend the night at Edfu.

Day 5: Aswan Abu Simbel (opt) – Temple of Philae – Aswan High Dam

Early in the morning you could choose an optional guided trip to Abu Simbel (for an additional fee).
Today you check out of your dahabiya, after which you will enjoy a guided tour in Aswan. First you visit Philae Temple and second, you visit Aswan’s High Dam. After concluding your itineraryin Aswan , you can be dropped off at any Aswan hotel or port. (Meals included breakfast)
Stop At: Abu Simbel Temple Complex, Abu Simbel, Abu Simbel Egypt
Early in the morning there is an optional tour to Abu Simbel (at an additional cost).
It is an archaeological site located in the belly of the mountain, south of Aswan
made up of two large temples carved into the rock. It was built by King Ramses II in 1250 BC These two temples were among the greatest temples in ancient Egypt. They are usually called the “Great Temple of Abu Simbel” and the “Little Temple of Abu Simbel,” both of which are more spacious and grandiose than all the Egyptian rock temples of all times. There are six statues at the entrance to the other temple, four of them of Ramses II and two of his wife Nefertari.

Stop At: Temple of Philae, Island of Agilika, Aswan Egypt
Upon your arrival at Aswan Airport (your Aswan hotel or port) you will be transferred to your luxurious cruise ship for a 3 night Nile cruise. After check-in, you will begin a guided day tour, starting with a boat trip to the Temple of Philae, which was built in honour of goddess Isis. After this visit you will go to the High Dam, an engineering miracle used as an embankment dam situated across the Nile River, built in the 1960’s to protect Egypt from annual floods.
You will be transferred back to the cruise ship for lunch, where you can also enjoy cruise activities and dinner in the evening. Spend the night on board in Aswan.

After this visit you will go to the High Dam, an engineering miracle used as an embankment dam situated across the Nile River, built in the 1960’s to protect Egypt from annual floods.
