What makes Explore Luxor Valley of Queens, Hatshepsut & Karnak – Hurghada a unique experience ?

We’ll start our trip from Hurghada to Luxor

This iconic location in Luxor showcases the monumental achievements of ancient architecture, with awe-inspiring statues, grand columns, and the largest temple ever constructed—all just a short distance from the energetic downtown area. The building of Karnak Temple took over 1,000 years, which is evident in the rich array of art and architectural diversity present at this historic Egyptian site.

Explore the Valley of the Queens in Luxor, Egypt, on our guided tour and uncover a hidden facet of ancient history. This royal necropolis is the burial site for numerous wives, children, and family members of the pharaohs. As you wander through the tombs decorated with colorful murals and hieroglyphics, you’ll learn about the lives and stories of these queens. Our knowledgeable guides will provide captivating insights into the ancient Egyptians’ burial traditions and beliefs, creating a truly enriching experience.

The Colossi of Memnon, also called el-Colossat or es-Salamat in Arabic, are two monumental statues that portray Pharaoh Amenhotep III, who ruled during the 18th Dynasty of Egypt. These impressive figures have overlooked the Theban Necropolis for around 3,400 years, since 1350 BC, and are positioned on the west bank of the Nile, across from the modern city of Luxor.

The magnificent Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari stands as one of the most impressive funerary monuments of the ancient world, rivaling the Pyramids. Built into the towering cliffs that flank the Valley of the Kings, the temple features three grand terraces connected by ramps, each adorned with a series of stark, mostly unembellished square columns. This monumental site honors one of ancient Egypt’s few female pharaohs, who aptly called it the ‘Splendor of Splendors.’ However, much of its construction predates her reign, beginning with Mentuhotep II around 2050 BC. Over the centuries, many sphinxes and other statues have disappeared, enhancing the temple’s monumental presence. Inside, the cool stone provides a respite from the harsh heat, revealing well-preserved wall reliefs and hieroglyphics, some still vibrant in color.
