The temple was built around 1400 BC by the king Imenhotep III, the grand father of the boy king Tutankhamen. then more additions were made later by Ramses II. one of most beautiful temples in luxor. It is well known as Luxor temple because of its location in the heart of the city luxor.

Used as a burial site from the reign of the 19th-Dynasty pharaoh Ramses I, this valley contains the tombs of many royal wives and children, the most famous being that of Queen Nefertari.

Stop At: Colossi of Memnon, Thebes, Luxor Egypt

Visit the two colossal statues of the king Imenhotep III, they are well known as Memnon. Each statue is about 500 ton with 18 meter high.
