Itinerary

Day 1: luxor

Stop At: Luxor, Luxor, Nile River Valley
LUXOR EAST BANK, KARNAK AND LUXOR TEMPLES SIGHTSEEING TOUR
Spend an afternoon with your qualified Egyptologist guide on a private tour exploring the East Bank of Luxor to see two of the most impressive temples in Upper Egypt – Karnak and Luxor. Start your day with a visit to the Temples of Karnak. Walk along the Avenue of Sphinx to enter the complex as your guide explains how the massive facade was constructed. On entering the Temples of Karnak you will see each legacy left by the various pharaohs as the complex grew even larger. The deeper you go into the complex, the further back in time you will travel, with the oldest ruins dating back over 3,000 years. Walking through the Great Court into the Great Hypostyle Hall, it’s hard not to be overwhelmed by the 134 columns towering above you like an ancient forest. At the rear of the complex you will find the sacred lake where centuries ago pharaohs and their offerings to the gods were purified. After a tour of the complex.

Day 2: luxor

Stop At: Luxor, Luxor, Nile River Valley
You’ll have an early breakfast onboard, then head out to visit the Royal Cemetery for 62 Pharaohs, the Valley of the Kings, then to mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built by the architects of the New Kingdom during the 15th century BC. Travel on to the Colossi of Memnon. After lunch, you will sail to Edfu, enjoying a leisurely dinner on board. Overnight on board the ship.

Day 3: Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples

Stop At: Edfu, Edfu, Nile River Valley
After breakfast on board, you’ll stop for a visit to the Temple of Edfu , the best-preserved temple of the ancient world. The structure is dedicated to Horus, the falcon god. You’ll then sail to Kom Ombo , where you’ll encounter the twin temple of Kom Ombo, where you’ll learn about the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Horus, whose monuments decorate each half of the temple. You’ll have your lunch back onboard the ship and sail on to Aswan . You’ll have dinner and stay overnight onboard

Day 4: Aswan Nile Cruise Tour

Stop At: Aswan, Aswan, Aswan Governorate, Nile River Valley
After your breakfast on the Nile cruise ship, enjoy a day’s sightseeing in Aswan. Start with the High Dam and then visit the Unfinished Obelisk in the stone quarries of ancient Egypt, the largest obelisk yet discovered. You’ll then proceed to the beautiful Temple of Philae ,devoted to the two goddesses Isis and Hathor. You’ll have your dinner and stay overnight aboard the ship.

Day 5: Aswan

Stop At: Aswan, Aswan, Aswan Governorate, Nile River Valley
03:30 AM –A box-breakfast will be provided by hotel in Aswan, and then you will be accompanied by your guide and driver to visit the two Temples of Abu Simbel, with their unique style, are considered to be the masterpieces of ancient Egypt. They reflect the glory and grandeur of the new Kingdom. The Egyptian government and UNESCO decided to co-operate in order to save these temples from the flood. The Temple of Ramsses II was dedicated to the four universal gods Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and to Ramsses II himself. The great Abu Simbel temple is also called The Sun Temple of Ramssess II.The Temple of Queen Nefertari is also Called Temple of Hathor who was the wife of the Sun God so in a symbolic way, the two Temples, that of Ramsses II and that of Nefertari, bring Ramesses II, Nefertari, Hathor and the Sun God together as one. Lunch at local restaurant in Aswan with free time at leisure before you transport your destination.
