What to Expect When Visiting Luxor, Luxor Governorate, Egypt

Itinerary
You will be riding a camel through the villages, countryside and desert, lead by a guide on foot. We offer rides from 1 – 4 hours. Our shorter rides will take you along the river Nile where you can observe the beautiful birds, such as the ibis and herons and you can watch the water buffalo bathing. You will pass through the villages and see how the local people live and work the land in the traditional way. On your way you will pass through sugar cane fields and banana plantations.
Our longer trips will take you into the desert at sunset or sunrise where you can watch the spectacular scenes from the top of the sand dunes. On these rides you will also pass by world famous monuments such as the Ramesseum, Habu Temple and Hatshepsut Temple. You will be close to the Theban Necropolis where you can find the tombs of the pharaohs.
