Please note that the drive from Kom Ombo to Edfu takes about 1.5 hour and the drive from Edu back to luxor 2.5 hours, a total of 4 hours, the time at the temple is 2 hours

The temple of Horus at Edfu, which is almost intact, was built in 237 BC. Founded by Ptolemy III and further expanded by his successors. It was the center of several festivals sacred to Horus. The inscriptions on the walls provide important information about language, myth and religion during Egypt’s Hellenistic period.
