Stop At: Temple of Rameses II, Beni Mansur, Abydos Egypt

Our Egyptologist guide will meet and pick you up from the hotel / cruise to start your private full day tour to Dendara & Abydos temples. The two temples are located in two different destinations and dating back to far different periods in the ancient Egyptian history.
Abydos temple:
It such a very impressive construction built by the king Seti I and completed by his son Ramses II (1290 – 1212 B.C). you will be guided to see aggression scenes from an ancient battle called Kaddish then listen to the dreamed story of the king Ramses II where he carved it in 99 hieroglyphic lines. Then to the biggest 7 shrines that never founded in any other temple. Proceeding to explore the king’s list which includes the Nesobity Cartoshes of 76 pharoses of ancient Egypt throughout the old, middle and new kingdom. Finally, you will head to the Osiron, Symbolic tomb of the god Osiris that Egyptians believed that his head was buried there by his brother after he shut him off into pieces according to the myth of Osiris and Isis.

Stop At: Dendera Temple Complex, Qena Egypt

DENDARA Temple:
You will move back to Qena city to vist Dendera temple.It is a unique colorful Greek-Roman temple (400 B.C- 300 A.D), located on 40,000 square meters far from the Nile river and surmounted by a huge mud-break enclosure wall therefor it is in a very good condition. The temple is dedicated to the cult of goddess Hathor where the gigantic Hathoric columns are decorating the great astronomic hall. Just in this temple only you have the opportunity to get into the crypt, passage and roof. Descending down the crypt to figure out the argue scenes of what shaped like lightbulb. Entering inside the passage that was the safety place to the golden statue of Hathor. Ascending the spiral stairway to explore the zodiac room and other rooms that describing the restoration of Osiris.

After this amazing day around the ancient gods and pharos’s spirits you will drive back to Luxor.
