What to Expect When Visiting Sharm El Sheikh, Red Sea and Sinai, Egypt
The ultimate desert adventure. This 5-in-1 guided trip includes five separate activities: quad biking, camel riding, dinner, a show, and gazing at the myriad of stars that populate the desert sky. Enjoy Bedouin tea, soft drinks, and door-to-door round-trip transfers.
You will be driven about 30 minutes to the quad bike center. Your instructor will set you up with safety helmets and give you instructions on how to drive safely. You will drive over flat desert sand to get used to the bike and gain confidence. You will be driving in a group and have the guide near you in case you need assistance.
Your route will bring you to the camel waiting spot from where you will embark on a relaxed camel ride to the Bedouin camp. Once you arrive, take a closer look at Bedouin life. Sit down in one of the tents, sip Habbak tea and relax before sunset. We will ascend a small hill to capture the views as the sun sets over the Egyptian desert.
Next, time for the buffet style dinner and complimentary soft drinks. We ensure the highest quality of food hygiene, using mineral water for cooking, fresh produce cooked over an open fire.
Finally we will sit down to an hour of fire-eating show, folklore dance and Tannoura. Next, our guide will escort you over to the telescopes to begin the star gazing. An English-speaking astronomer will explain what you can expect to see on that night; usually you can see the moon’s craters, Saturn, star constellations and Mars.
