What makes Private Arada Canyon and ZigZag Canyon from Sharm el Sheikh a unique experience ?
Our guide will pick you up from your hotel at 8 am, to drive by minibus for approximately one hour to Sheikh Ali Camp in Dahab. Here you will get into a 4×4 Landcruiser, to drive for about half an hour on road to Wadi el Jebi. From here we go off-road through the Wadi, stopping to look at the Jebi Rock Inscriptions. We then continue for about an hour off-road to Gebl Makhroom. Here we can climb to the ‘Dragon’s Eye’, a natural hole in Mount Makhroom. We then continue to see rock inscriptions of an ibex mother and baby. We’ll have lunch in the desert and then continue for about an hour to Arada Canyon. From here, we’ll climb through this double canyon, with its many beautiful turns and climbs. After this hike, we’ll have some Bedouin tea and continue to ZigZag Canyon. Here our guides will start cooking dinner in the canyon. The canyon will be lit with candles and we can enjoy the beautiful starry sky, until its time to return to your hotel in Sharm el Sheikh by jeep and minibus.
